Making Care Accessible
Insurance & Financing
We accept most dental insurance plans, most Texas Medicaid plans, and CareCredit financing. Our goal is to make sure cost is never a barrier to your child receiving the dental care they need.
Your Payment Options
We offer multiple ways to pay for care. Call us if you have questions about any of them.
Dental Insurance
We work with most major dental insurance providers. Our team will verify your benefits and explain what is covered before treatment begins, so there are no surprises. We encourage you to call ahead with your insurance information so we can confirm coverage before your visit.

We accept most Medicaid dental plans for children in Texas. Medicaid covers many preventive and restorative pediatric dental services. If you are unsure whether your child's specific plan is accepted, call our office and we will help you verify quickly.

A little preparation makes the billing process easy for everyone.
Call before your first visit
Give us your insurance information over the phone and we will verify your benefits before you arrive. This saves time and avoids any confusion on the day of your appointment.
Bring your insurance card
At every visit, bring your most current insurance card or Medicaid ID. If your coverage has changed since your last visit, let the front desk know when you check in.
Ask about treatment estimates
If Dr. Boyd recommends a procedure and you want to understand the cost before scheduling, our team can prepare an estimate based on your coverage. We want you to feel informed before making any decisions.
Preventive care is usually well covered
Most dental insurance plans cover routine exams and cleanings at little or no cost to you. Keeping up with biannual visits is almost always the most cost-effective approach to your child's dental health.
